Women & Patents

Here is an interesting article from the U.S. Patent Office about the number of women, by county, who have patents. In 1990-1992, there were no patents from women in Belmont County. Between 2017-1019, there was one! The Appalachian counties surrounding Belmont, including Monroe, Harrison, and Guernsey have not had any patents by women during those years.
